Range Finders

“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

When I played golf in high school, my dad had two rules. Rule one, we always walk when we play (makes for a hot day in August!). Rule two, no range finders. Of course, when I started college, we walked all our tournaments, but the first thing my coach gave me was a range finder! Having a device that gave me precise yardage before each shot gave me a new sense of confidence in my game. I used it before every club selection, and I didn't make a decision until my range finder gave me the information needed. In life, we should rely on the Lord in the same way. He needs to be our range finder in everything we do. He needs to be the one we seek before every decision and before every interaction with others. Pray that you consistently seek the Lord and His guidance.
