North GA PGA Jr League
If you're in the Athens, Gainesville or surrounding counties in North GA and interested in getting your child involved in golf, then PGA Jr League is the perfect fit! Designed for fun in a family friendly atmosphere, kids will get to play with other kids their age, across North Georgia.
Format
Players will compete in a fun 9-hole 2 v 2 scramble format each week against players of similar age. Each group will determine their macth over the course of 9 holes or 2.5 hours, whichever comes first. The Fall schedule will begin late August and run through late October. PGA Instruction will be available to all participants during the season.
Fun Events
The season will include fun events such as a Parent/Child tournament, prizes for Closest-to-Pin & Long Drive/Chipping contests. On weather inclement days, we will determine an indoor location to have a Simulator Golf set up for players to enjoy.
